Connecting to ChatGPT + Codex
Fluent is an official plugin in the ChatGPT directory. Install it once from Fluent's plugin page; the same installation works in ChatGPT and Codex, on your phone or a computer.
Connect Fluent
- Open Fluent's plugin page in the ChatGPT plugin directory.
- Choose Install plugin. Sign in to ChatGPT first if it asks.
- Sign in to Fluent and approve the connection.
Start in ChatGPT
Type @Fluent in a conversation, or open Plugins → Installed → Fluent and choose Try in chat.
Start in Codex
Open a new task and type @Fluent. The plugin you installed from the directory is already available in Codex; ChatGPT and Codex use the same plugin library.

If Install plugin is not shown
Sign in to ChatGPT, then reopen Fluent's plugin page. If a workspace administrator manages your ChatGPT account, plugin installs may need to be allowed for your workspace. You can also email [email protected] with the account and step where setup stopped, or connect Fluent's MCP endpoint (https://mcp.meetfluent.app/mcp) directly with another AI app's setup.
For stale tools, incomplete OAuth, or an installed plugin that is not active, follow Troubleshooting.
